Community Engagement

Cathedral Bluffs Symphony Orchestra contributes to classical music development in our community through a number of exciting initiatives aimed toward young and emerging musicians.

Clifford Poole Vocal Competition

This competition draws emerging vocalists from throughout Canada for the opportunity to perform with the Cathedral Bluffs Symphony Orchestra during the concert season.   Mezzo soprano Danielle MacMillan was the most recent winner of the competition, and performed Mahler’s Songs of the Wayfarer in the Spring of 2022 with the orchestra to resounding praise.
