The Cathedral Bluffs Symphony Orchestra continues their exciting 2015/16 season with the UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO SCARBOROUGH CAMPUS CONCERT CHOIR and ENSEMBLE TRYPTYCH CHAMBER CHOIR, and soloists MILA IONKOVA, soprano; and LENARD WHITING, tenor, presenting MENDELSSOHN’s Symphony #2 (Lobgesang or Hymn of Praise) on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 8:00 p.m.
Also on the program is MOZART‘s Flute and Harp Concerto in C major, with guest soloists: flautist ESTHER CHOI, and harpist ANGELA SCHWARZKOPF.

UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO SCARBOROUGH CAMPUS CONCERT CHOIR
The University of Toronto Scarborough Concert Choir is an auditioned mixed choir consisting of students, staff and members of the community at large. Lenard Whiting, conductor, auditions singers the first week of classes in both the fall (September) and winter (January) semesters. The concert choir option can be taken for credit or purely as extracurricular. Performances include university special events and concerts within the arts and events programming division including the end of term concert.
ENSEMBLE TRYPTYCH CHAMBER CHOIR
Ensemble TrypTych Chamber Choir (ETCC) is an auditioned amateur mixed-voice choir. Four annual concerts present diverse, unique and challenging repertoire, including oratorio, opera, smaller works and Canadian compositions. Recent productions performed were Handel’s Messiah, Dvorak’s Stabat Mater and The Glory of Scotland.
