The Cathedral Bluffs Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Norman Reintamm, continues its’ 2018-19 season on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 8:00 p.m. Featuring Stravinsky‘s The Rite of Spring, a magnificent musical masterpiece of the twentieth century, and Debussy‘s Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun. Additionally, CBSO is pleased to present the world premiere of Waltz, by Estonian-Canadian composer, Erik Kreem (commissioned by Cathedral Bluffs Symphony Orchestra), who will also be making his orchestral conducting debut.
The concert will be held at P.C. Ho Theatre in the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto at 5183 Sheppard Avenue East. Pre-concert talk starts at 7:15pm.
